In 1896, when industry in the southeastern US was growing at a rapid pace, a man named Joseph Lodge decided to start a cast iron foundry in the small town of South Pittsburg, TN. Lodge Cast Iron has been making heirloom-quality cookware and accessories ever since. As the only cast iron cookware foundry from its era still operating in the US and only manufacturer of a full line of American-made cast iron cookware, Lodge boasts an extensive line of products including Dutch ovens, cast iron skillets, deep fryers, reversible griddles and grills, along with a line of American made carbon steel cookware.

Aquired by Lodge in 2019, FINEX is a small team of Portland based craftspeople, cooks and designers dedicated to crafting cookware that will stand the test of time. Their work is inspired by the hardworking history of American cast iron and grounded in our belief that cooking should be genuine. It’s these simple ideals that guide them as they reinvent cast iron cookware with modern design to enhance the life of every cook. Inspired by antique wood stoves and made from stainless steel, their ergonomically designed spring handle feels great in your hand and stays cool longer while the patented octagonal shape provides more ways to flip a spatula and spouts to easily pour sauces and liquids without dripping.
